How long do HTC reapirs take?

I`ve had to send my One X back as the GPS was rubbish, frequently put me on the wrong roads when using the sat nav app.

So, they`ve had it for a week and a half now and using their tracking system it still says its status is `received`, does it go into reapir when they`re actually working on it ar is that the only status they have?

Does anyone know how long it normally takes for repairs, when I spoke to them, they said usually 7 days?

Cheers
Dan.

Hi

my status went from "recieved" to "in repair" fairly quickly although it does not state anymore then that

they told me on the phone originally it will possibly be 7-10 working days
they have had it a week today

in fairness they did phone monday and say the phone was still in for repair and they are unaware why the phone has failed like it is, strange for a manufacturer too say

when asked if thats the case can we not have a new replacement, they said it has not been in for long enough to make that decision but cannot get out of them how long is long enough, neither does their warranty statement say anything

how long is a piece of string i wonder

good luck

Thanks for the info, seems you`ve gotten to the next stage way quicker than I have, even though they`ve had mine longer.
Called them at lunch, said they`ll get an update and email me (cos they`ve got my phone so cant call me).
Hope it doesnt take too long, feels like I`m missing an arm.

Mine is going back tomorrow. Screen flex/distortion. They also quoted me 1 week. I've still got my old desire, so i'm not fussed if it's longer. As long as they don't take the pish.
