Help how long does it take to charge samsung galaxy 3?

it took me like several hours to charge my phone from 15% to 90%

is this normal?

Mine has to charge for about 4 hours... this is perfectly normal.
Charge your phone until you got the notification that it is fully charged.

it takes about 2 1/2 hrs for me but some how i feel that the battery life isnt all that good i get about 1 1/2 days of back up i feel my tattoo and other HTc phones were giving me 2 days with new battery

when you turn off the phone, you see a battery icon that has a charge animation.
But this is inacurate... when the animation stops, the battery isn't fully charged yet!
Only when you see the notification (when phone is turned on), you'll know if it's completely charged.
My battery lasts for about a week.... but this is with data connections turned off.
