How long does your Android last on a full charge?

I have a couple of Android phones from MetroPCS which I occasionally switch between but out of all the ones I have I find myself using my Samsung Admire, although it's not 4G like my other ones I still love it because the battery last me a awhile and I never really needed 4G anyway as I have Wifi at home and work.

So anyway with all of my Android phones I have them set to where I can get the most out of my battery on a single charge, for example I got the following turned off/set to low: auto sync, gps, brightness, vibrations, keypad sounds, etc you get the point.

With heavy usage (Calls, txts, music, FB, YouTube, Web) my Admire lasts me me about 10 hours enough to get me through the day. With moderate usage about 12-16 hours or even more. Apps that run in the background and use data I got them set to the lowest too so that they don't refresh very often and drain my battery.

So how long does your Android last on a full charge and what have you done to improve your battery life?

It depends on my usage. On working days It sometimes lasts 50+ hours, because I dont use it as often as weekend days. In weekends or days when I have more heavy use, it lasts 12-18 hours.

I turn data or wireless internet off when not using it to save battery, which makes the battery lasts alnost twice as long. I never turn the device off though, I want to know when I receive messages or calls.

Forgot to mention that in the OP, and I do that to whenever I don't have access to a wifi network.. its the simple things that make your battery last long but to the average android user its complicated, all they know is to just make calls, txt and browse the web.. my mom is a good example.. shes had her android for a year now and all she does is call, txt, facebook.. she doesn't know the basics of how to use it, she needs my help everytime she decides to change her wallpaper lol.

Yeah, it also took me some time to explain all the handy tricks to my gf. Its just so simple, I have put a data turn on/off widget on my homescreen. All it takes is just a simple tap to save battery.
 
I always purchase aftermarket battery with higher milliamps rating so my phone lasts longer. The stock battery's usually do not last all day for me at work. Plus I do all necessary tweaks, run a custom rom and kernal and over clock my processor. :D
 
Tweaking the settings can help, but really it all comes down to how much you use it. No phone will last an entire day if you use it for hours straight. On the other hand, you could go 2 days before charging if you use it very sparingly. With average use, I usually have 30 % or more left at the end of the day, with 3 to 4 hours screen time.
 
Varies, depending on alot of different circumstances. So can't really give an accurate answer.
 
I know I have an extended battery on my Gnex, 3800mAh instead of the standard. Mine will usually last about 30 hours moderate usage...I can usually pull off about 48 hours with low to moderate :)
 
My HTC Evo 4G LTE is my 7th android smartphone, and hands down it is the best for battery life--by far! On a typical day's usage, I can go 20-24 hours on a single charge, and that's without using any power-saving apps like Juice Defender. I keep wifi, nav, and bluetooth off unless I'm using them, and I keep the mobile network connection active at all times. A typical day for me consists of 4-5 calls, some navigation around town, email, Facecrack and web browsing.

When getting ready to buy a new phone, I asked the guy who runs the cell flashing company I used which phone he recommended seeing as he's been in business for 6+ years and has used just about every phone out there. He recommended the LTEvo (it's what he uses too) because of the features, screen, build quality, and the outstanding battery life. So far, I really love this phone--best phone I've ever had in 18 years of cellphone ownership....

Yea I don't see why people need Apps such as JuiceDefender, its easy to adjust your Android to make it last a long time. And yea the Evo 4G is good, I hear nothing but good things about it.
 
Battery life for me isn't so important due to me being able to charge at work and home.. my battery lasts me around 3/4s a day on average.. on one charge.. and I'm happy with that :)
 
I use Maps and BT audio to play my music whenever I'm in the car. It will last about 2.5 hours before running out. My round trip commute is about an hour in total, so I generally have enough left to get through the day. If I'm low, I just top it up wherever I am. I do have a car charger, but I generally don't use it as it is rather inconvenient and my battery lasts for my daily commute. I only use the car charger on longer trips.
 
Samsung Note 2:
- VERY heavy user (multiple e-mails pushed)
- Heavy data usage from Internet and youtube
- Moderate gamer (Temple Run 2 addict)
- Moderate talker
- Battery can last me from the moment I wake up to the moment I g to bed. This is the first phone running on Android that can do this!
 
Nexus 4. Moderate user. Best I've gotten is about 40 hours, but that was over a week-end. Included a reasonable amount of usage, but somewhat below par.

During the week, I generally have somewhere between 20% and 40% left when I head to bed.
 
My phone is mostly connected to a AC Wall Charger, but when am not...I can get up to 5hrs with heavy usage.

What I do to improve the batt life -- The only method that seems to work ...is either gettin' extra batteries (which my phone doesn't have this option), or keep the device charging.
 
You must be a seriously heavy user! I can't recall ever having only gotten 5 hours from any fully charged phone. That's pretty poor.

One of the guys I work with has an extended battery on his phone. Makes it look like the Quasimodo, but it does last a long time.
 
Stock battery, on a work day lasts for about 30hrs. On a weekend or a day with heavy calling and texting, lasts about 10-15hrs.
 
My two current phones. The Lenovo usually goes for 2 days with average use. The cheapo Galaxy Note 2 lookalike, 1 day. But then it does only have a 1.8Ah battery, as opposed to the Lenovo's 2.5Ah one. However it did come with two batteries.
