Root How long til root?

Awe heck, I will just throw it out there... How long does everyone think it will take to root? Second question, how locked down will it be. Boot loader, etc...

it all depends on how experienced you are with the process and understanding the steps. there are one click programs available that can root your phone easily without having to know how the whole process works

how locked down your root is all depends on what rom you decide to run. different roms can do different things... or so i believe.

I really don't think there's any way to know that until someone takes a look at the bootloader. This isn't a cross-carrier device (ie Galaxy S) so it's not like there are ANY similar models we can look to as a reference.

I might give it a try tonight. Without there being ways to recover im kind of hesitant.

And it works, my charge is rooted.
