Was thinking while listening to Howard while working and wonder how many people listen to him.

I used to watch the TV show but I dont listen to the radio show. TV show was great I thought.

I was a steady listener when he was on broadcast and for a while I <cough> obtained <cough> his Sirius show. When Artie did what Artie did I pretty much stopped listening entirely. I was already tiring of the show before that, but Artie's loss and the loss of the kayos he brought finished it for me. The show seems to have devolved into little more than Stern complaining/boasting about his life, Robin laughing at it and boasting of her own pompous existence. As Fred's reduced his presence and without Artie, it seemed to me that Robin has become a much bigger part of the show. I used to be neutral about Robin, but have come to despise her pompousness and cackle. Maybe I'm just getting older? Maybe it's just that they're getting older? Either way, I haven't listened in a year or more and don't miss it at all. Well, I do miss the old show of 10-15 years ago but that's dead and buried.

I used to be an avid listener and thought some of his comedy was ground-breaking. When he made the move to Sirius I found that I didn't miss his show, so I never subscribed. I recently bought a new car that came with 3 free months of SiriusXM radio and tried listening to his show again. What I discovered was that the show, other than the lack of censorship, was pretty much the same as it had been years earlier. Now I have no desire to listen.

I used to find him mildly amusing. Now I want to bang my head against the steering wheel when I hear his voice or Robin's cackle.

I agree with what you say. Howard doesn't even make bits like he use to. He has sal and. richard make phony phone calls that are mostly lame. I mostly listen ehen he has famous people on as he is a good interviewer. I think he is on cruise control now to finish his last 5 years and then retire. I think deep down he wished he never left terrestrial radio ad his whole gimmick was how he fought the fcc. Now he can say what he wants and he is bored with it. Kinda hard to be a shock jock when you can say anything on the radio.

I listen to the old shows with artie and he did make that show and now Howard is lost without him and sees he has to work again to put a shiw out. Robin what can you say about her? She's a pompous ass. They could make a laugh track of her and fire her ass and no one would realize she's gone.

He needs artie or find another comic to help the show. He needs a funny man for his show.

I use to listen to him daily but I could careless anymore. All he is now is self centered. He tells the same stories over and over again. He only works 4 days a week, 4 hours a day and is on vacation like 10 weeks a year and still complains. I have no problem turning the channel on him.

It's now 3 days a week.

SERIOUSLY?! I also can't stand how he claims to have made Sirius what it is. I had Sirius before Howard and I will have it after he leaves.

Sad to say but it was him that made sirius what it is today. He brought millions to satellite. Numbers dont lie as when he took the air waves the subscriptions skyrocketed.

I recently cancelled Sirius so I probably won't listen as much. There's always way to get the show free but I probably won't either anymore. I like that robin is a vegan, and I think Howard deserves to retire and relax. He's done enough for his fans, kept us entertained. I love when he just talks about his life, no bits and no guests. He's super smart and insightful.
