I don't use it for work, but I've used it for school! I'm a graduate student and I'm in a course about building online learning communities (I'm getting a certificate in online education along with my degree). One of my assignments was to join a random online community and blog about it to my classmates. Best. Assignment. Ever!
(And yes, it is for a legit class in a legit program at a legit school)
