Depends when they bought the phone. i know when the galaxy ace 1st came out it was near enough same price on contract as any flagship phone!!!

Got the Ace when it very first came out (1st day!) & I wouldn't touch Virgin Media with a bargepole! Poor signal in my area, poor web access, poor customer service. I'm on 02-UK who always have 100% signal wherever I go in the U.K. & roaming. So it's worth the extra. GrahamF in West London.
