How much does Fox pay this guy?

double-facepalm.jpg

When the Fail is so strong, one Facepalm is not enough.

Fox today was already working hard to sanitize the life story of the p.o.s. who shot that U.S. Representative and a bunch of other folks out in Arizona.

i hope that s.o.b rots in a prison cell for the rest of his life
a nine year old ffs
The congresswoman was pro-gun, I hope at least something good will come of this if she survives

You mean they waited for actual verifiable information rather than labeling him a violent christian extremist and member of the Tea Party before the shell casings hit the ground?

Which, current info shows that he is none of those things.

judging by his YT page, he seems kind of Tea Party-Libertarian
We should wait for more info tho

No Tea Party member would list the Communist Manifesto as one of their favorite books. He seems like more of an Anarchist from what I've seen.

The Tea Party doesn't want to abolish government completely, just par it down to a more reasonable size.

But yea, those are just impressions. We should await the facts.

honestly, this thread shoulda been locked at post one. What good could possibly come from this?

What I found funny is fox news (sadly this was on when I got up in the morning..)

Said that the person shot is something of a moderate..

If thats true...

Shame the kind of person we need most was targeted :/

I usually favor politicians who can look down both sides of the isle and agree with different idea's.

"Just because I disagree with you, doesn't mean I think your Hitler" mentality.

Are you serious? She is dying and your first thought is that she was pro-gun and that we should learn from her beliefs?

Got it. So it is her fault that she died because she is pro-gun.

That is extremely selfish considering the circumstances.

Gun law isn't going to change. Get over it.

1. she isnt dead, thankfully
2. its no way her fault some deluded recluse decided to go on a gun spree at her
3. I meant I hope she will help change things... at least in her state

Thank you Shadowninty....when we want your opinion on what should happen in the United States...we'll go ask an American....not a EU citizen...

Geez, I dunno - many Europeans I know in real life tend to just yell at me over our foreign and domestic policies, as if I'd made them up personally - often right after introductions. My favorite was the... oh, not safe for forums story, never mind. Anyway, I kinda like having someone from that side of the world expressing opinions calming and rationally. (user comment, not mod)

I have seen that happen in my city in the pre-Obama years (way to welcome the diaspora back )
I woudnt mind so much (I would; figure of speech) except for the fact that we have continuesly voted in right wing governments since we bludgeoned our way to independence and we have no right to be so verbally aggressive over it

That reminds me of a comedian I heard saying something along the lines of when Americans travel abroad they become the suggestion box for their country.

What most people dont understand and what Mr. Oreilly was basically saying that behind the science the answers that cant be answered are GOD, the man believes that the tides show him God exists because even though we know the science behind it everything has to be exactly perfect for those things to occur the way they do. Just like our planet and its location axis etc etc Even if some or most of you do not believe in GOD do not belittle a man for his beliefs.

When someone is a person of influence and his beliefs are absurd, it is reasonable to question them. What if O'Rally believed god was a particular stone outcropping and claimed the tides behaved the way they did because of that outcropping? Could we belittle him for that belief?

Beyond worshipping the almighty dollar, I'm not sure what O'Rally's beliefs are, anyway. He talks the talk but he doesn't seem to walk the walk.

Oreilly is just copying beck over this religion kick. heck didnt rush do the same thing? None of them wants the others getting the upper hand with certain potential listeners.

as far as this guy shooting this woman. he will be in a psycho ward. Like all the others that has shot political figures.
