I think he means freelance. And how much money you can earn is dependent on a lot of things. Most of us won't be able to give up the day job.
(note: im just a beginner please go easy on me and just help me out ) exactly but I don't know really much about development is it hard or if I may learn about app development would I get a huge amount of money?

hey robet, you have asked a great question but something is really hard to tell when you're starting up a professional life and you don't know where to step in. well, to tell the truth, I have faced the same thing back in the days I was really worried about what path im gonna choose or what would be the better choice for me. I am a developer for approx 5 years and I have learned a lot form my fellow co-workers and still im learning but tell you the truth app development is a great world to groom your self and it involving day by day you should consider this as advice if you choose this path you will earn a lot just by developing app the minimum amount of cash you can earn from app is 3k $ and so on.

For you, the learning curve will be steep. There's a lot you need to learn before you can become a productive app developer.
But having a good idea is half the battle. Are you a creative or imaginative person? Having technical skills is required, but also having the creativity is a big bonus. Not everyone has that.
I have to say that chances are you will not earn enough to make a living out of this, particularly being a freelance developer. Because even if you come up with a killer idea for an app, you still face a monumental challenge in making people aware of your app. This is where marketing comes in. It also costs $$$$ to be effective.
Unless your app somehow becomes fashionable and takes off big time, in terms of popularity. It has happened, but it's rare.
Can I ask where you get this minimum figure of $3k from please?

Well for example the creator of Angry Birds I would assume is at least a multi-millionaire if not billionare.
It depends on what you make, does it achieve some kind of service or bring a unique experience (like angry birds) of a certain game that becomes a fad and everyone starts rushing to download it in the millions?
Instagram only had I think 12 employees and facebook bought it for a whopping 1 billion.

Also sadly sometimes certain things don't become successful until later in life because people are strange and don't see potential sometimes and can miss great opportunities sometimes.
I thought of an application called "Random Sh!t" where you press the "I'm feeling lucky" button or something like that and it does something stupid and totally random like open up a random song on your phone, or download pron or something funny like that and start opening up random pages.
I think it could be worth a fortune but I don't have time to develop it.

The world can be a very strange and very crazy place, what could be the next craze could be worth billions just look at Psy and his Gangnam Style song.
But that is pop culture for you it is always going to be crazy I feel. Or at least most of the time.
But if you are not looking at the media then there could be tons of productivity kinds of applications that you could make that someone never thought about before and it could be worth an absolute fortune.
For example the concept of Uber would not work if there were no easy way to hail a taxi (like cellphones apps make it very convenient).
Just for a few examples

I work freelance and for a company with the minimum turnover of my company is 20 million dollars they minimum charges are 5k per month and every freaking month they get 500 clients and that's a big number.I know you're a developer a best one im just sharing my experience with my company.

there are some but its take time and every masterpiece needs time to develop
1: you have to be a developer( for that you have some expert ideas and skill in the development of apps
2: you would work in reputed app development company in the city ( and you need to work your ass off if you want to earn some grand cash.

That is a very good point that lunatic has made.
Just be careful on your creative endeavors because like I said the world can be a very scary and crazy place especially when it comes to the more sensational parts or areas of life that are almost impossible to accurately predict.
Psy could have been a failure with his hit song Gangnam Style and everyone could have laughed at him for example or that application that you thought would be a big hit that you spent years making could turn out to be a total and utter failure...
For example I left the IT industry because yes the money wasn't anywhere near as great as what I am getting now and went into the engineering and technical side of things.
Some of us in the engineering field get paid an absolute fortune and you will never starve.
For example with my qualification there are only about 500 in the entire USA that is capable of doing what I can do.
But before you start getting all excited it is extremely hard work and takes a very long time to get it - no less than 3 years of experience to be exact (this also depends on what you have been working on as well might be longer if it is considered too junior what you have done prior... or what type of exchangers and vessels ect it could be as long as 5 years experience required maybe even longer depends on what you have worked on before) and that is just to get accepted not including how hard and difficult it is to pass the final exams and all the practicals involved to assure that are good enough because it carries tremendous responsibility. It is no joke my kind of work. There is no room or space for "woops sorry!"... maybe in other industries like a school or something yes... but not mine...
I get paid a hell of a lot of money but I absolutely love what I do as well... sometimes the pressure is immense and totally insane and I feel like it is just a bit too much and I feel like the entire world is on my shoulders but that is another topic entirely and comes with the territory but I love it though much better and more fun than IT ever was.
They are correct do what you love... but I don't agree that the technical fields won't make you rich that is where some people are not entirely correct.
In my field I will get paid a nice fat 90$ per hour (and that's being quite conservative or underestimating I think over seas it is much more than what i get here) and I work in the engineering / technical field.
If you love money what I recommend you do is go and get work where there are very few people that are capable of doing said work and where you will be as rare as hen's teeth.
That way you can retire very early if you so desire
But yes be carefully to put all your eggs in one basket.... I love crypto-currencies for example but due to the volatility / instability I would never risk everything I won into it... that is unwise.
Do something that you love that will always bring bread on the table
But don't risk that bread on the table for something that could land you on the streets if you don't cross all your i's and t's that is...
I don't want to destroy your dreams but just be careful that's all

And if money is your god, then fine. You also said you work extremely long hours, weekends etc, and your job is very pressurised. Sounds stressful. Some of us, including me, neither want, or need that kind of lifestyle.
I agree with Luna, do what you love, then it won't even seem like work if you enjoy what you do.
I'm well paid for what I do, above average salary. But then I've been in this industry for 30 years. A junior developer can't expect to start off on a huge salary, just to set expectations for the OP.
