I have bricked my phone while flashing clockworkmod recovery. My phone is rooted. I was thinking whether i should bring to samsung service center to fix it as i still got warranty of around 8 months . I am afraid that they might check whether i rooted it and might charge me expensive . What should i do
 
Does it get on or it doesnt? If it gets on you can fix it yourself and if it doesnt, act as if you dont know that the phone is rooted. Just tell them that you switched off the phone and when you tried to get it on, it did not. Just dont mention about rooting and they will fix it for free.
 
If you used ROM MANAGER to flash clockworkmod recovery then it is hard bricked. They wont be able to tell what was on your phone.............
 
They cant check after they fix. All the phone data will be erased. They will charge somewhat around 100$, which is damn costly! Keep your sd card and sim card with you before you give it to the service centre and they wont know your phone is rooted.
