How so you create a check-in place on the official Facebook app?

Exactly as the title says.

My iOS owning buddies are able to create their own check-in places on Facebook, such as "Fred's house" "at my parents" or whatever.

I can't seem to find a way to do this on Android.

Any ideas?

Sorry about the lack of reply here! It seems I was just doing it wrong.

I was looking for a create button rather than typing where I wanted to check into in the search box
