How to add a just dialed number to contacts book?

pstein

Assume I tap on the "phone" icon on the HomeScreen and enter a number.
After the call I decide to add the number to my contact list with some personal information (Name, email,...).

Is there a fast way to do this from "favorites" entry?

Currently the only way I know is to select menu "New contact" and to enter EVERYTHING INCLUDING the NUMBER manually.

I miss a menu entry "add last number to contact list" which would avoid re-entering the number.

Is there such a fast track for adding?

Go to the call log as funkylogik said, then tap and hold on the number you dialed. You'll get a menu with one option being to save to contacts. :)

after the call hangs up.. there should be an option to save.. to new or current contact.

as the others have said.. call Log.
long press the number and you will be presented some options.

Tip:
in android.. "long Press" the item.. so see what happens
always try this if you are wondering what to do with it.
