How to automatically share Google Contacts?

Hi,

Yes searching this subject brings 10-20 different ways of doing this. But not automated. That is, whenever my wife updates a contact I want this automatically update or add this contact on my phone (1 min or 10 hours is not important). I can't use a common account as this will not work for web-contacts (e.g. Gmail).

We have Google Apps for our family but the contacts sharing feature there just doesnt work.

Any great paid apps outthere that can do this? Perhaps this can be done using tasker and some other magic? I'm already syncing pictures and other stuff (using tasker) whenever the phones charge at home - syncing contacts there would also be fine.

Please suggest anything automated :)

Have you checked out soocial.com (not a misspelling)?

I haven't tried it yet, but my wife and I could use this same thing, and that sounds like it does it.

Well almost there but yet so far away. Soocial does not support my wifes HTC Incredible S. So I'm back to the start line again :(

Others that are interested: it seems that if your phone supports SyncML, then it would probably work with Soocial. Start with the free account - and check for yourself.
