Help How to avoid installing ICS update

I've just downloaded ICS, but haven't installed it. I'm hearing about all sorts of problems with it, and I don't want to reset my phone and reinstall all my apps. Is there a way to delete the uninstalled ICS files?
 
Don't know how to answer your question, however just wanted to say that after installing ICS, I did not have to reinstall any apps and only did a soft reset. It's running great.
 
Honestly, it's worth the install. I've had no problems whatsoever with it since the install and it's like I have a brand new phone. Just because others have had problems with it doesn't mean you will.
 
I also didn't have to re-install any of my apps after the update. They all installed off of my Google account. I did a factory reset after the install of ics and my phone is running great.
 
I'm sticking with GB.
I know of nothing ICS has that I want, but hear about all kinds of problems with it.
How to avoid the update? Just don't install it.
 
I've been running ICS for almost 2 weeks, and have never had to do any resets or re-installs of any kind. I got the notice, installed ICS, and that's it.
 
I was regretting installing it but after a couple hard reset I am now running good. I had a couple apps that were not compliant with ICS which I found were causing most of my problems. I got rid of them and everything was peachy after that. So it appeared my issues wasn't really with the ICS system, it was one rouge app and one app that just plain slowed everything down.

Same with me, after I hard reset I have a new new phone, LOL

I can't answer your question, but I can agree with your intentions....I switched to ICS last week and HATE it, I would pay to go back to GB.
