Root how to backup and restore games and sms when switching roms

this might be a dumb question, but i tried titanium backup and it didnt restore my user data ( a game i play alot had lost all my save games)

i was wondering if there is a specific step by step some of you do, when switching roms to make it quick and easy.

for instance, this time

i used titanium backup to backup my apps (did not save my savegames or connection preferences in many of my apps)

i used sms backup and restore to backup my mms/sms

and i used ADW launcher backup to save its settings.


but as you can see i must be missing something because i lost all of my data.

how is everyone else doing this?

I use MyBackup by Rerware LLC free on the market. So far its been working flawlessly for me at least. I restore all app data, text, phone call logs and everything else. I use it mostly for text and call logs but it works well for app data also.

+1 The only app Ill use for backups. I have never liked TiBu.
