Help how to backup/save important txt msgs

pl can someone tell me how to save my v treasured txt msgs onto something-sd-pc etc.i want to be able to read them.i am new to smart phone.also not literate in mobile technology.dont understand lots of words used.so pl pl tell me in simple words.i have samsung galaxy ace.

use SMS Backup+

it stores your sms in your gmail under label SMS. you can read your messages from there and also restore them back on phone whenever needed.
