Apps How to block other apps

I want to make an app like self control for study. Is there any way to do this??
this app blocks the user from accessing certain apps.

Check out the various parental control apps, they do that, may give you some ideas.

I'm sorry, I sure don't.

You might consider emailing one of the parental control devs, see if they're willing to give pointers, or collaborate if you like, because you're focused on a different market.

thx... the thing with the parental control apps is that the kid can't access anything, which isn't what I wanna do. I just want certain apps that the user knows for sure would distract him to be blocked for a specified time.
