Hi,
Friends, as a part of my engineering studies, I hav decided to do my main project in android, which is an audio search engine.. something like shazam..
But unfortunately, doing such a big project is beyond our knowledge and time constraints.. So it would be great if anyone could give me some ideas that could lead to an app like shazam or a miniature version..
The project idea is that, when the user gives an input (a song
) through a microphone, the link to the song should be displayed..
I think it needs an implementation of FFT, noice reduction, DSP etc.. Am also trying to understand how fingerprints are made by shazam..
So if anyone have some ideas regarding the topic, please advice.. Would be fantastic if codes in java are available...
