Help How to bypass apps and have normal web page view in browser?

there are certain parts of web pages that I can't get to using my Droid X, even when I try and go through the browser instead of the actual app. For example, my notes tab at the top of my yahoo mail account, or certain parts of Facebook (like picture comments).
Is there a way to see these pages in normal web view? I was able to do this on my Blackberry, but can't seem to figure out how to on the X.
