Are you tired of frequent updates to all applications installed on your Android device? Then it's time to turn off automatic notifications, which becomes an irritant at times. Since many applications are in beta or Release Candidate stage in updates to know for sure the doors of your phone. So let's see how you can turn off this irritating the automatic updates of the applications instead of the Google Android Market. Usually the pop-up updates on the status bar of your Android device.
Procedure to disable automatic updates in the Android Market:
First, you have to open the application from your device Place Market Android.
After opening the market, you need to touch the menu key, which is usually the left button soft touch.
Now one of the options, select Downloads simply clicking on it.
Now, after downloading is selected, tap the Menu key again and now have to select the notifications.
In the Notifications option, select Do not notify me by checking the button.

Make sure that the app doesn't need to be checked for use or license. I have Audubon Birds, and if you don't update it, it will tell you to pay for it again. If you do have programs like that, then maybe they should be allowed automatic updating and uncheck the others individually.

thx fr ur suggestions ive tried them. bt yea once i uncheck the notifications the problem is temporarily solved.. bt aftr sum time market app itself gets updated and loses its data(which includes the notifications unchecked). so gmail and maps start updating again. is der any way to stop system apps updating?

you can turn off automatic updates off in settings i think. i did it so it didnt install updates for stuff i didnt want on my old phone (HTC Wildfire S)

Google really needs to let you delete the apps you tried and removed from the phone. I keep seeing an update for Adobe reader - once I got Beam Reader I deleted Adobe.

While the apps don't update automatically, the notification bar still has them.

If you look under your apps - there's quite a few that have been tried and deleted still marked as installed.

wer is dat option in settings?? im unable to find it..

I have alomost lost 175 kb in auto update which is updating games and softwares automatically without my permission because while downloding it from internet i had accepted the auto update.

To stop the automatic updates use the following steps:

Go to the Main Menu
Click on Settings
Clck on the About Phone
the click on the Software Update
and then uncheck the Auto Update Option

If you are afraid with all automatic udpates then uncheck all the auto updates options from the Update Options.

Cheers !!!!!
