how to change Android system username app_106@Android

[CoolWhip]

is there any way to change Android system username app_106@Android to a custom username? I'm just assuming it would be similar to changing toot username on a Linux machine.. I'm taking about the urethane in the terminal on rooted phones, and figure it would be pretty much the same fit all devices if it were possible.

I don't want to create a new use, just change the name of the existing user. I'm just concerned that this might break some applications.

The only way I know of doing this is to remove the one account and install a new account. But if you're familiar with linux commands and your device is rooted, there is an app called 'Terminal Emulator' that will allow you to use the linux command line.
