Help How to change the keyboard?

Tick the little box that allows install of non market apps. Only the third time I've mentioned having to do that in this thread alone. Its in the settings section of the little pop up box you had pop up saying install blocked

Failing that

Maybe I'm just slow, but I don't see anything about that box under settings>applications. Am I missing something?

You may not if you are with a carrier that has disabled it, thinking mainly of AT&T in the US.

Yeah. I figured that out. I hate that AT&T does that! What's the point in have an Android phone if you can't use it to it's maximum capabilities!?

HTC is good but swype is da shi%. get swype. takes some getting used to though

i usually txt in the horizontal form and i dont know what happend to the keyboard that now is in the vertical form. i switch the xperia but doesn't work... plz need help!

I am totally amazed that I actually discovered how to change the keyboard font!! (the default was so horrible - I wonder where they found such an unreadable font!!). It is even more amazing to me that people actually have the time to search this forum to learn how to do such a simple task. A glimpse into a world without Apple is really quite scary. I will go buy an iPad tomorrow. whew!!!

To Blaze Dave: I cannot thank you enough, as my english default keybourd dissapeared after i installed and then uninstalled the free android keyboard app called siine!! i tried everything, and was litterally about to stamp on the bloody thing, untill i came across your workaround, and hey presto, it was no longer in fukin JAPANESE, and the option to reinstate the english keyboard was restored! For which i am trully gratefull, as the sony erricson site troubleshooter told me to restore to factory settings!!! You are a total star! thnx so much. Regards, Ben
