how to change the "ring" when calling someone?

Are you ready for this one?? My husband says a coworker changed the ring on her phone to play a song while she waits for someone to pick-up. You know no ring... ring... ring, get it? O.k. so how cool is this, and can it be done on the G1. Her phone is some simple thing like one I bought for my kids. So how hard can it be to do this for a G1? I am a customizing junky. I even figured out pixel ratios for my old phones to custome pix 4 it, not to mention my phone played real music when others were downloading midi chimes. I HAVE to know how to do this!!!!

I had this feature with t mobile. it was a monthly charge that was paid and you had to buy the songs that you wanted. Its called ringback tones if I understand what you are trying to say. hope I was of some help.
