Help How to change the shortcut label?

Hello!

I am a new user of HTC Desire HD.
The label for the Messages application shortcut is too long in my native language and the shortcut doesn't look good on the main screen.
I was trying to use the Any Cut application. The program works really well and I could change labels for many shortcuts except the Messages.
What do you recommend?
I'd like not to use any sophisticated launchers and integrating them with the default desktop. Just want to change the names of some labels.

That's odd. I don't see why it wouldn't work on the messages app either.

Yeah, that's odd. I have no idea. But the problem has already been reported on some forums in my country where users also wanted to change the Messages label. All other labels can be modified without any troubles.
