If the Jawbone Up says it works with the Moto X, I'd be very surprised if it didn't work with the Droid Maxx - they are essentially the same hardware. The radios (including BT) are the same.

Yes! I bought a Jawbone UP24 Tuesday afternoon. No problems at all.

I've had no trouble with it syncing data but it doesn't show up in my list of Bluetooth devices.

I believe that is normal for Bluetooth Low Energy devices. The connections are not constant but are made when needed and then quickly disconnected (which is what makes them LE).

Same for my FitBit Zip. It will sync through their app but will not officially pair to my MAXX. It will show up in the list as available.
