How to chose a particular backup version when restoring using Titainum backup

Hi Guys,

I have used Titanium Backup and made 3 backups of everything on my phone (apps , data, etc) . Backups have been verified to be on my SD card . These backup were done days apart. I tried restoring a particular backup but can't figure out how .

It automatically restores from one of the three backups that are on the SD card. Is there a way to specify restoration from a specific backup date/time ?

Thank you ,
Samantha

App-by-app you can: select the app and you get a list of the backups, and just click to restore the one you want.

Batch restores however always use the most recent. I don't offhand know of a way around that.

Yeah I only keep one backup so can't help with that sorry.
Doesn't TiBu give you a choice of what destination you want to restore from? (assuming it stores different backups in separate locations?)

I currently only have one backup per app myself, though in the days when I had smaller apps and a removable card I kept more. But I'm pretty sure they are all in the same top folder (/sdcard/TitaniumBackup is I think the default, from memory).

Of course you could change backup locations before making a backup, then set it to what you wanted before doing a batch restore, but that's certainly quite a fiddle to have to remember.
