Was giving phone to my friend, is there a way to clear everything off, Can I go to verizon and will they do it if now?

If you are certain that you don't want/need anything on the phone, you could do a factory reset. Menu > Settings > SD & Phone Storage > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone and Internal Storage.

And don't forget to take out or erase the sdcard.
