Go to Settings > Application Manager > All applications (on the top). Locate the "BadgeProvider" app, once in there select "clear data" then restart your phone

Anyone else think of something on this issue....

Go to settings >apps >launcher, launcher storage then clear cache & data. It will reset your home screen layout, but it will work. You will only have to reset your home screen
