Is there any way to close the an open window? even when I kill the app still its window is open and when I click on the very bottom left icon (not sure what the name of this icon is - its right beside the "Home" icon and "Back" icon).

Hi Schabak, and welcome to the forum.

You're referring to the 'recent apps' button. It doesn't show you what's running, it shows what you've been using, with the most recent at the bottom of the list.

When we get updated to ICS you will have the ability to remove items from the recent list. Until then, a reboot is the only option.
