I want to know how can I connect a USB flash drive with my Micromax A27 via OTG cable? Please reply.

Plug the cable into the phone's microUSB port. Plug the flash drive into the other end of the cable. Done.

I've done this but when I'm connecting OTG cable to my phone my phone directly getting switched off. Pls help.
