Help How to Convert S Note Folders to Text

How can I convert all of my memos in my S Note folders to searchable PC text documents?

I bought this tablet to take notes and archive them on my PC. The desire is to be able to search through the notes on my PC using Word.

I know that I can "Share Via" individual memos as "Text Only," but I want to be able to share many folders with many documents in one step. It is not possible to "Share Via" "Text Only" for a folder, not sure why.

I have also tried to "Export" folders with memos as pdf's, but when I convert them to word, rtf or txt documents, the memos convert as pictures, not searchable text. I have also tried to unzip the .snb files and convert their pdf's with the same result.

My Note 8.0 has been updated to the latest OS. Has anyone else with a Note 10 experienced this? Is there a work-around for "Share Via" a folder? Does Awesome-Note have the same issue?

I've not found a way but agree it would be useful. I tend to use one Note per month so might try exporting the text out each time I finish a note
 
Good news! As of 7-1-13, you can share a folder via text.
I can now search my S-notes as text file on my computer.

Just go to the menu hardkey on your Note, select "share via" and then "text only."

"Text only" for folders was not a choice in the past. I have automatic updates selected, so they must have updated the software.
 
OK, so I'm either missing something or I'm missing the update :)

The only Share Via I can find in s-Note is when I am editing an s-note, and on the top right I click the menu icon (3 lines and a triangle), and Share Via comes up as the top option. Text in there lets me export the text of the note.

But I can't see a similar option when I am in the files view of s-note where you can see all the files / folders of your s-Notes. I also tried a long press on a folder to see if it was in there, but I only got Delete Copy Move Rename Sync. Long press on an s-note in this view has Share Via, but that is only on the file not the folder

Very confused :)
 
I see that you guys were talking about all of this almost a year ago now. I am having the same problem you mention David. (Galaxy Note 10).
I take about 6 multi-page notes every day... I need to transfer them from my tablet in a form that I can read them/print them from my computer later. Has anyone figured out how to do this yet?

Any clues help!
 
Open any snote that you want to save, click on the 3 bar gate and the first option should be "share via" last option is save as text. But it will only save the words typed in using the keyboard not words written with the spen.
 
You can easily convert to a jpeg image.open note, go to menu/upper corner,press send, choose Gallery...which converts it to an image file. I like to save it in google drive so I can view it on my pc anytime

Best for handwritten notes so you can view drawings plus text.
