Apps How to create scrolling list when you push a button

I am working on adding a search page to an app and I need some help figuring out how to have a list pop up where you can scroll thru and select a value when you push a button. I am using xamarin so the code is in c# but any help is appreciated. Do I need to create the pop up thru code or is there a way to create it using the gui tools. Xamarin has the same tools as android studio. Thanks for the help.

yeah , i think you need to create PopuoWindow thru code ,but you can do the layout stuff in XML file
