Most WiFi connection problems can be solved doing this:
Turn router off. Unplug router.
On the phone, delete (ignore) the network you where trying to connect to.
Turn phone off and wait 5 min.
Turn router back on and wait for it to fully reboot.
Turn phone back on and sign into your network.
In rare occasions you might need to reset the router then turn off.
In even rarer situations you might need to turn off the modem, unplug, and pull batteries. If you have to do this, restart modem first. Then router. Then phone.
