hOW TO customise the timing for the screen locks...

I have an htc Wildfire(Android 2.2)... I want to know how to customise the timing for the screen LOCKS irrespective of whether the screen is on or off... In other words I want my own setting to lock the screen at a particular time(or after a particular time setting)

Can anybody help me...PLEASE.
