This might be a noob question, but how can I get rid of that annoying voicemail icon in my notification bar? I press "clear", but it doesn't go away. I have to go into my dialer and then clear data for it to finally go away, but even so, it comes back 10 minutes later. Is there a way I can delete the voicemails themselves so I dont get the icon to appear?

Dial your voicemail I think you hold 1 on the dialer and follow the steps to delete it

It goes away once you've removed the voicemails. During the voicemail voice menu prompts there's an option to delete; usually "7," as mentioned above, depending on carrier/provider.
You shouldn't actually have to delete the voice mails to get rid of the notification. You only have to listen to them.
That being said, I think VM deletes any voice mail messages after a certain time if they are left in the voice mail system, so if you are wanting to save that one message from someone, it might disappear after about a month.
