How to deny facebook location data

Hi folks, have installed the new native facebook app and disappointed to note that even with location turned off in the app's own settings, the app still requests gps data occasionally. Obviously I could toggle GPS off and on when I need it, but I prefer to leave it available for other apps which I do want to access it.

Anyone know of a good way I can simply override the facebook app's permissions and deny it location data altogether?

HTC Desire HD, JellyTime 4.1 r29 ROM, rooted S-off.

Well, since you're rooted, you have options that others don't. I don't recall the name of it, but they're is an app out there that approves or denies individual permissions, in an app by app basis. Using that will allow you to leave your GPS on while denying Facebook access to it.

That's what I'm after! I've found a couple of supposedly open source options, but they've turned out to be either gone or now charging which seems odd for open source.

Yep, sit tight and lemme try to track it down again. I thought I copied it, but must not have.
