How to disable 4G in Galaxy Attain (under Metro PCS)

Lurker
I have a LG Esteem and I can disable the internet (4G) by going to Setting -> Wireless and Network -> Mobile networks -> Data Enabled (choose disable)

However in the Galaxy Attain, I cannot find the "Data Enabled" button to disable the 4G. Would you please tell me how to turn the internet (4G) off? Thanks!

Market Description:

This is just a shortcut for Samsung's TouchWiz 3G Setting (TouchWiz 3G Setting Widget). You can turn on or turn off the 3G network with this app.

It doesn't work on the Attain, well not for the purpose of turning off your LTE/4G.

I use Launcher Pro & am able to create a toggle/shortcut, IE:
Shortcut/Activities/LTE Functionality Test. In there you will see several options like LTE on, LTE off and if some actual time was spent on it, making a real toggle app probably wouldn't be too difficult or a quick & dirty script...

Try Elixir:

You should be able to configure a widget to toggle your data/lte

4g On/Off for Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G

download apk from android market called ANY CUT then create a free tile space on the home screen. Now open "Any Cut" go to "new short cut" then go to "Activity" then select " LTE Functionality Test" you should now see a apk called LTE on your home screen... selsect LTE and then when apk opens select LTE On/Off

Hit Thanks If This Helps you:)

You could also go into the dialer and dial *#*#HODO#*#* and select CDMA auto (PRL).
That switches it to 1x/3G mode
