Help how to edit a phone number before to call

Hello
I feel that android on samsung galaxy SII is a real pain
It seems to be quite impossible to easily edit a phone number before to call
I am trying to add a prefix BEFORE the phone number
How can I go at the begin of the text (phone number) with that stupid android keyboard

Sorry I'm still nervous with the user_friendlyness of android I'm feeling using dos before Windows comes
And for many feature my old dumbpphone was much easier

I assume you are talking about within the dialler
Just press at the location within the number text you wish to start typing to move the cursor

Yes I finaly find out !
The problem was that the behaviour is not the same for message editor and dialer editor

I assume that it is due to the Samsung's layer over Android
This is for me one of the major issue on Android : every manufacturer can set his own customization and the behaviour can be different over brands and models with sometime very bad idea
