So I got the swype keyboard, and it shows up under keyboard settings. however, whenever I go to type (like right now) it only uses the default keyboard.
Hold and long press on the text input window (the box that says 'type to compose')and you will get an 'edit text' popup. Select 'input method' and then pick swype.
