My Motorola Milestone 2 is rooted. I want to unroot and do a complete factory reset. What is the best and easiest way to do this?

Boot into recovery and dod a factory wipe. That might or might not unroot it. If you want to make sure you unroot it, use Superoneclick or whatever the ap for rooting from PC is called, it has a function to unroot.

Alternatively, flash a non-service version of software via RSDLite.
