Apps How to find niche on Google Play Store?

Forgivee

Newbie
Hi,
I published 3 applications on Google Play Store but my applications downloads are too low. I will make another application, but I need to find niche. How can I find niche on Google Play Store? How to decide application subject that is desired and has low competition. Which free tools can I use? What should I do?

You can also, review my applications. Only Puncher is in English, others are in Turkish.

If I knew the answer to that question, I'd be developing the idea myself and taking early retirement! ;)

Seriously though, a lot of utility apps can come from solving a problem. Think of a problem that you have, and which an app could solve that for you, or make your life easier. Chances are, if it solves a problem for you, then others would also find it useful.

The great thing about this kind of app is that even if it's been done before, if you can implement it better, in terms of features, or quality, then it can be successful. Try to think about the problem from a different angle. Analyse apps out there and think about how you could improve on the idea.

The games app market is probably the most challenging out there, and the competition is huge. We've had a couple of posts on here recently complaining that their app had very few downloads. It's down to marketing I'm afraid. The more you can publicise your app, the better. And the big companies have marketing budgets to do that.

So, is there any free tool for keywords to get search volume for google play? I mean estimated search volume.

I don't know, but even if you do go by keyword search volume, these things tend to be fashionable. What's "in" one month is old news the next. And app development isn't a particularly quick process. So is being reactive to what's currently searched for a particularly good strategy?
All you can do is develop the best quality apps you can and hope they catch on. I mean who knew that "Pet rescue saga" was going to be a smash hit?

Also, you need to be careful about "packing keywords" in your Play Store description--Google frowns upon that practice...it's a fine-line to walk to try to accurately describe your app without overtly including more keywords than necessary (or whatever Google deems "allowed" or "appropriate").
