How to fix "process failed unexpectedly" errors?

On three occasions I have had to wipe my phone (Samsung Exhibit II 4g, rooted with stock kernal/rom), do a factory reset and a re-root after a variety of android processes began to fail. First one would fail, then a few seconds later, another, then another, and eventually failed process notifications would be popping up constantly until the phone became unusuable, with the only cure a wipe and re-root. Is there a way to nip this in the bud, the next time I see one of these process failures?

did you try wiping the dalvik cache first? one time i didn't and my phone kept giving me so many of those errors i had to redo it. it was giving me something like 'the process com.google.contacts has failed unexpectedly' every 10 seconds

Bump. It happened again, and my only solution was to do a factory reset, then re-root. This time, when processes began to fail, I tried wiping the dalvick cache and cache in Clockwork Mod Recovery, but that didn't work. Help. Is there a solution to this?
