how to force wifi calling without rooting

I have poor cell signal in my home and I do not want to use a cell network range extender. I would like to force my phone to prefer wifi calling over network calling whenever it is available. For example, I'd like to have a program that detects when I am at home (because I am connected to my home wifi, for example), and then turns on airplane mode (which turns off wifi) and then turns wifi back on so that all calls go over wifi. Thank you.

You'd have to look for something like Agent, or Tasker, or similar, and set rules based on those programs. You're not likely to find something that automated, though. Probably just something that will manage your connections and other basic settings, not that will detect a specific wifi and manage other settings.

I just checked Tasker and it looks like Airplane Mode is a root thing? It can certainly do things if you're connected to your home Wifi, but not sure Airplane Mode will work out of the box?
