Help how to format SD for Android

[Android Question]

How do I format SD for Android? Is it true that it doesn't use FAT? How do I use this to put everything on the SD card?

Put it in your device and hit format.....

You should find the option to format in your storage settings.

I have never had to format a microSD card for use in an Android device. Just open the package, put it in and it works.
