I'm new to this forum, need help finding help. I have used up most of my 8 gb with purchased TV shows. I don't want to delete the shows in order to free up memory. How can i transfer the shows to my PC?

Where did you get the shows from? They could have DRM which means they're only viewable on the device they were purchased on.

But I think he could still back them up to the PC and bring them back to the N7 as required.
And can scrub the DRM if so inclined.

if you have 4.2.1 you can go into settings go to storage and select cached files i believe and clean cache that way
Put them into google drive, that way you can still access them through wifi.
If you bought them through google play, it doesnt matter if you delete them off your nexus, they are still in your account, and you can re-download whenever you want

Really? Cool. Then that makes life easy. I purchased the shows through Google Play. When i connect the N7 to my PC i can't see the purchased shows, but I can see all of the other personal vids and content that i've obtained outside of G Play.
I believe its in Android/data/com.google.android.videos but dont quote me as the file in there has a different name but its the same size as the only 'bought' film I have which is the free ice age one. The easiest way to get rid of films etc, is just to long hold on the icon and remove.

Just out of interest, where do you get TV shows from on Google play, I cant seem to find any? There certainly isnt a section for them, and movies doesnt provide any either

The availability of them is likely predicated on where you're located (a.k.a. Geofencing). If Google hasn't been able to strike deals with the rights holders in your country, you're out of luck
