Ok when you dial metro with 611 just say "need something else" and the computer will ask if you want to speak with someone, say yes. That's how you can speak to a metro person instead of their computer if you just can't stand it.

all of ya doing it caveman style 2giga is the only person that said the right way *490 connect u directly. and those of ya that have my metro on the gs3 or such phones u will have to disable that app in order to be able to conenct directly to metro or else when u dial *490 your my metro app will open and just annoy the hell out of u.

I get a "call could not be completed as dialed" message when I dial *490.

The online chat is pretty good, actually.

Here's an update on this:

Dial 611 from a working phone. It works way better than anything else. Requires a working phone, of course.
