How to get back older version?

I updated my Xperi Mini Pro to 4.0, but it's very slow so I want to get back my old version, is that possible?
And I hate these button what are in corners (Sony Ericsson use these), how I can hide them? And allso I want to change app menu, it's very annoying to change the pages if you have these 6 or more .
Sorry about my bad english, but I hope that somebody can help me .

Unfortunately, to downgrade your software, you'll need to root and a custom ROM.

One alternative is to try a launcher replacement. There are lots in the Play Store: GoLauncher, Apex, Nova etc.
