Sigh. First off, please try to poke around and read the forums or do some searching in the future.

Flashing CM 10 is possible, but right now, you're not going to get 4G data or texting if you do, and there are still bugs to be worked out and things to be tested. It is in no way ready for anyone but ROM developers/porters/testers to be using.

That said, I think the flashing procedure would be pretty simple:

1. Install the 2nd init recovery app (linked to in the Lg Motion 4g all things root guide that's stickied)
2. Download the latest CM alpha/beta.
3. Use the 2nd init recovery app to reboot into recovery, flash.

But don't do it unless you know what you're getting into. As I've said, it's not ready, and there is no ETA. If you know anything about Android programming, or if the developers need donations or incentive to keep the work coming, then contribute anything you can if you want to see CM 10 on this phone as much as I do.

And remember to clear cache and do a factory reset before flashing. Once that is done flash the cm10 then flash the gapps package which you will need to find

:smokingsomb:lol are you the dude that posted on the metro page on fb? I found an mms.zip that was supposed to fix metro mms under cm10. Also it may seem complicated but once you learn you can make a nandroid backup of both roms (assuming you have a large enough sd card) and switch between jb 3g and ics deodexed rooted) I have bricked the phone many times and I was always able to restore it using the firmware on the lg website and the unbrick tutorial. Its definitely worth learning how to do, although you may be a little disappointed once you realize how slow 3g is. As for now, I am satisfied with LG's tweaked ICS.... and the motion 4g is still an amazing phone

-mm
