how to get galazy s4 out of safe mode

i have a galaxy s4 with Sprint. Just got it. Can't get out of safe mode. Not sure what I touched to put it in safe mode in the first place.

To exit safe mode in the s4, merely power down the device and then power it back up: it'll power up in normal mode then.

To get into safe mode you have to repeatedly press menu as the phone is booting. There will be the occasional time when a simple reboot won't exit safe mode. If this is the case, power down, remove the battery, replace and the reboot.
