Root How to get gmail app? And kernel question.

Alright, I installed JagerRom 3.2 and I love it. Only problem I have is that there is no gmail app and I don't like the k-9 mail app. Is there any way to get the gmail app back?

Also, with a custom rom can I still install a hydra kernel? because the undervolted kernel would be nice to install.

Pretty sure that the updated hydra kernels work with JagerRom. I use it perfectly on SkyRaider and they are similar.

I'd look around XDA for the Gmail app if I were you

Thanks, got the kernel installed

Posting on XDA didn't lead to much, and a search didn't get me very far. Any further guidance on getting gmail app?

Pulled from a CM6 nandroid, in turn pulled from a google apps download so this should work.

I think that it has to be in /system/app so you have to push it with adb OR just flash this:
